The shape, type and how the Mr Fluffy legacies could be acknowleged has not been decided. We are seeking input from the community to inform a discussion paper that will be provided to the ACT Government's Asbestos Taskforce for consideration.

The Mr Fluffy Community and Expert Reference Group (CERG) is working with independent consultants, RPS Group, to develop and conduct the Mr Fluffy Legacy Project community consultation program.

The ACT Government’s Asbestos Response Taskforce has funded the Mr Fluffy Legacy Project community consultation program, however, is not influencing or guiding any consultation.

The Community and Expert Reference Group (CERG) will write a discussion paper for consideration for the ACT Government’s Asbestos Response Taskforce. This paper will discuss the views and needs of the community that are gathered through the CERG, the community workshops and this website. The draft discussion paper will be available for comment by the community before final version is provided to the Taskforce.

The Taskforce will be provided with the final discussion paper at the conclusion of the community consultation program. The ACT Government will respond to the final discussion paper with preliminary information within 45 days of submission, with final decisions to be provided within 12 months.
